When Corbetts Ski + Snowboard approached me to rebrand them, it would include bringing them up to speed with online and in-store promotions.
The ski season is a hectic time for Corbetts, they have many top brand partners within the ski and snowboard industry. They promote regular in-store/online promotions and offers to the 1000s of shopper that come through their doors.
Corbetts many potential promotional partners ranging from ski resorts such as Big White and Whistler, as well as many equipment brands such as Burton, Salomon, Volkl, Rossignol and 1000s more.
This posed a problem, we needed to create a more streamlined way of data capture and promotions at checkout.
The solution was an iPad application that could be customized to hold several promotions for a range of brands at the touch of a finger.
The iPad app also allowed the promotion to be portable on location at events such as the Toronto Snow Show and on hill at any mountain.
A custom built tablet stand allowed the app to be place next to specific brand promotions, next to the check out or even in hand at larger line ups for events etc.
