Whilst working as creative director for SDIMKTG in Toronto, I was given to opportunity to help kick off the 2017 Rogers cup with very special stunt at Kew Gardens tennis club in the east of Toronto.

The stunt was a VIP opportunity for GamePlus members, an ideal media awareness opportunity to promote the upcoming Rogers Cup and a way to bring some of Canada’s sports heroes back into the grassroots community.

Rogers GamePlus members exclusive innovation and access to VIP experiences to Tennis, Hockey and Baseball, which gave us an ideal opportunity to invite not only Genie Bouchard (Canadian Tennis Player) but also Aaron Sanchez (Blue Jay Baseball) and Connor McDavid (Edmonton Oilers Hockey).

The stunt was a series of five mini ‘minute to win it’ style games, The games were catered to the talents of all the players abilities, Tennis, Baseball and Hockey and the winner of each game would get to donate $1000 per game to a charity of their choice.

With a potential donation of $5000 to a chosen charity on the line, Genie, Aaron and Connor competed against each other and then pleased the attendees with photo opportunities, autographs and the chance to play alongside their sports heroes.
