T-Mobile wanted to show gratitude to regional sales associates at an annual appreciation and training event. One of the purposes was to showcase the history of the BlackBerry Curve and focus on the updated features the new BlackBerry Curve 8520 from T-Mobile.
The sales associates were invited to an event that screened the latest Transformers blockbuster movie at 25 cinemas across the U.S. Prior to the movie, there was a training presentation and a custom generated trailer promoting the history and rise of the BlackBerry Curve culminating on the newest edition, the BlackBerry Curve 8520.
To add a little humour we created ‘AVG TechnoCom’, an imaginary telecommunication solutions company that was struggling to keep up with BlackBerry Curve’s success in the modern market place. T-Mobile sales associate’s Facebook training sites were seeded with bogus AVG TechnoCom advertising as a teaser to the upcoming event.
